(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 38, the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act. The bill would allow a qualified individual to possess a concealed handgun in another state that allows individuals to carry concealed firearms. Congressman LaMalfa is one of the original cosponsors of the bill.

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 469, Sunshine for Regulations and Regulatory Decrees and Settlements Act. This legislation ends the practice of “sue and settle” used by federal agencies and special interest groups to create new regulations outside of the normal rule-making process. H.R. 469 will instead allow greater transparency and public input by mandating that agencies publish the original complaint online within 15 days.
