LaMalfa Congratulates Brian Dahle on Being Named California Assembly Republican Leader

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after State Assemblyman Brian Dahle was named the new California State Assembly Republican Leader.

LaMalfa said: "I congratulate my fellow North State farmer Brian Dahle on being named Assembly Republican Leader. It's about time that we finally have a voice of someone who is from North of Sacramento to lead the caucus and be a megaphone for rural issues. Brian has continued where I left off in fighting for expanded timber management legislation. With 100 million dead trees, the need to utilize biomass, and the desperate need for more water storage and a stronger Ag presence, Brian can help make these issues a priority and bring stronger awareness in the Assembly."
