Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) has introduced legislation in the House of Representatives to designate a Historic Site on the grounds that were formerly internment camps during World War II for nearly 30,000 Americans of Japanese descent. In addition to designating the location a Historic Site, the bill requires the National Park Service to consult with Modoc County, the City of Tulelake, and the adjacent Tulelake Airport when planning management of the Historic Site.

Washington, DC – Rep. LaMalfa today voted in favor of H.R. 3762, the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act.
