Washington, DC – Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) recently Jackie Scarry of Palo Cedro to the Capitol to recognize her as the 2014 winner of the Congressional Art Competition for the First Congressional District of California. Each spring, the Congressional Institute hosts a nationwide art competition to recognize young artists within each district.

Washington, DC – Redding, CA – Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) today visited the Emma Wilson School in Chico and met with government students at Chico State University. LaMalfa delivered books and pocket Constitutions to the Emma Wilson School to recognize National Reading Month and also answered questions about a number of issues facing the area.
