This funding will provide for the immediate creation of disaster relief employment of approximately 260 individuals to assist with the cleanup and recovery efforts resulting from wildfires in Shasta County.

The funding is part of the Rural Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking Program, which is designed to support organizations that help identify and respond to cases of sexual assault and expand services for sexual assault victims in rural communities.
