LaMalfa Statement on Additional Funding for Sites Reservoir

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) issued the following statement after the Bureau of Reclamation issued a $6 million grant for the Sites Reservoir Project.

LaMalfa said: "Sites is a cost-effective project, providing much-needed storage. I'm happy that we were able to secure $6 million in additional funding for Sites as part of the $134 million granted for western water projects in the recent government funding package."

Congressman Doug LaMalfa is a lifelong farmer representing California's First Congressional District, including Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou and Tehama Counties.
