LaMalfa Ready to Begin 115th Congress

January 3, 2017

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after being sworn in for his third term as a United States Congressman in the 115th Congress.

LaMalfa said: "As I'm sworn in for my third term, I am grateful for the opportunity to work towards accomplishing big things with our new government on issues that are important for our district, such as in agriculture and natural resources, creating jobs, and providing the best possible care for our veterans. Today marks the beginning of the 115th Congress and a new, Republican-led government. I have many priorities in the upcoming months, including the repeal of Obamacare, expanding our economic opportunities, overturning many burdensome regulations, and defeating radical Islamist terrorism. I look forward to working with President-elect Trump and my colleagues in the House to accomplish these goals in 2017, and I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to further the interests of California's 1st District."
