LaMalfa: Cameras Don’t Legitimize Democrats’ Bogus Impeachment Hearings
Nov 13, 2019
(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement as Democrats began the first day of impeachment proceedings in the public eye.
LaMalfa said: “Today, Adam Schiff and House Democrats finally allowed their weeks-long, closed-door impeachment proceedings to take place in the public eye. Nothing has changed – the cameras don’t suddenly legitimize this bogus process. Both of their star witnesses admitted to not being on the call between President Trump and the Ukrainian President, and my Democrat colleagues are still unable to present any actual evidence of an impeachable offense. We do not impeach a President based on hearsay. The campaign to impeach President Trump and remove him from office has been underway since the moment he was elected, and Democrats’ theatrics won’t stop now. As this process drags on, it will become increasingly clear to all Americans that the facts don’t back up the allegations against the President.”
