LaMalfa Announces Grant Funding for Healthcare Clinic in Bieber

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $300,000 in grant funding to Mountain Valley Health Center in Bieber, CA.
LaMalfa said: "Access to quality healthcare options has always been a significant challenge for rural areas like Northern California. Community Health Centers give people in our area access to healthcare services that they otherwise may not have at all, and federal funding like this helps ensure these facilities are fully equipped to provide the best possible service and care for our people."
Congressman Doug LaMalfa is a lifelong farmer representing California's First Congressional District, including Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou and Tehama Counties.
