"Law enforcement officers risk their lives to protect civilians and preserve law and order despite rising crime and this Administrations' soft-on-crime policies. The hard work and dedication of all men and women who wear the badge so often goes unappreciated, especially in today's culture. I pray for all the families who lost a loved one in the line of duty, and today I remind everyone to do the same. These valiant officers' sacrifices were not in vain, our towns are that much safter thanks to their commitment to public safety," said Congressman LaMalfa.
