(Greenville, California) - Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R- Richvale) delivered this weeks Republican Address to the nation from the Dixie Fire, the largest single fire in California's modern history. His address focuses on the need to address our failing forest policies that have left rural communities in danger and destroy our natural resources.
"Fixing our failing forest policy can't wait. The western states, and in particular Northern California, are burning up. Our rural towns are under siege and the federal government is part of what has been standing in the way. The United States is the number two importer of wood while our forests burn around us," stated Rep. LaMalfa.
