LaMalfa Speaks at Plumas County Veterans Stand Down

September 25, 2018
(Richvale, CA) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after speaking during the opening ceremony for the first annual Plumas County Veterans Stand Down in Quincy, CA. The event was hosted by the Plumas County Veterans Collaboration and aimed to provide resources for local veterans, with 45 exhibitors on hand to provide information – including local, state, and federal agencies, nonprofits, medical professionals, barbers, and local businesses.
LaMalfa said: "The first district is home to many veterans, and the first annual Plumas County Veterans Stand Down is an effort to involve the community in providing them with the resources they need but may not be aware of. If you served in the military or are one who volunteers to support our veterans, functions like these help connect them with the services available, and I am honored to take part."
