LaMalfa Receives True Blue Award from Family Research Council

February 16, 2018
(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after receiving the True Blue Award from the Family Research Council for supporting pro-life and pro-family legislation in the First Session of the 115th Congress.
LaMalfa said: "During my time in Congress, I've always advocated for policies that put the values and best interests of working families first. I believe individuals should decide for themselves how to spend the money they've earned – that means choices in healthcare, lower taxes, and not being forced to fund programs you morally disagree with. In the first year of the 115th Congress, I was happy to support many important pro-family policies, such as landmark tax reform, repeal of Obamacare's IPAB, and legislation to protect the rights of the unborn. I appreciate receiving the True Blue Award, and I will work to carry forward this momentum into the second session of the 115th Congress."
