LaMalfa Issues Statement on Release of the Mueller Report

(Richvale, CA) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after the Department of Justice released a redacted version of the Mueller Report to the public.

LaMalfa said: "The release of the Mueller Report today is long-awaited vindication for the Trump Administration after a blatantly partisan witch hunt initiated and funded by Hillary Clinton and the DNC. The fact that our President did not collude with a foreign government should undoubtedly be good news, yet some in Congress and many in the media seem disappointed. That is puzzling, to say the least. I've always supported the full release of the Mueller Report – to the extent that the safety of witnesses and third parties is not jeopardized. The findings of this report only validate what most of us already knew – there was no collusion between President Trump and the Russian government. I hope we can now get to the truth about how this entire episode was manufactured and hold the parties responsible for their abuse of our intelligence services."
