(Washington, DC) – Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) issued the following statement after the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced it will be investing $14,261,000 in Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative for rural electric infrastructure improvements. The funding will be used to build 1 mile of new electrical line, improve 44 miles of existing line, as well as other system improvements.
